Hi! My name is Felicia Gryder. I have been teaching for 19 years. I began my teaching career in Midland, TX at Scharbauer Elementary, where I spent 8 years. I taught 2nd grade self contained for 3 years and 4th grade Math/Science for 5 years. From there, I took a Math Specialist position for Midland ISD for a year. Then I went to Greathouse Elementary where I taught one year of self-contained 3rd grade followed by two years of 3rd grade Math and Science. I ended as an Instructional Technology Coach for Midland ISD, which I did for two years. I moved to Mertzon and taught a year of High School Spanish. Then I took a job in San Angelo at TLCA, teaching 7th grade ELAR. Finally, I made it back to Mertzon. I taught 4th and 5th grade math for a year, then 5th grade math and technology (4-6). This year I will be teaching 5th and 6th grade math.
I graduated from Angelo State University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Education. In 2014, I graduated with a Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of the Permian Basin.
